Team BRAW hits the links and shares the love at 150th Open
Team BRAW were delighted to be part of the prestigious events at this year’s Open Championship held at St Andrews, and to be supporting the 150th playing of the iconic event, won this year brilliantly by Aussie Cameron Smith.
Our BRAW Ambassadors spent both the Saturday and Sunday of this year’s championships roving around The Home Of Golf, meeting fans and locals, and giving out thousands of delicious samples.
Made from the finest, most delicious natural ingredients, BRAW is available in two stunning options – Salted Caramel and Bakewell – and is packed with the crunch of oaty loveliness, a crunchy mouthfeel and simply irresistible flavours.

Perfectly crafted as an on-the-go snack or an indulgent treat, it proved a real hit with everyone we met – we had all kinds of the St Andrews crowds coming to say hello (not to mention Love Island’s own Nathan Massey!), with the fantastic iWalker screen technology allowing us to reach just shy of 40,000 international patrons, young and old.
Carl Vitty, General Manager at Fleming Howden, said:
Being part of the Open was the next step in bringing our super tasty BRAW bar to sports fans. We were right behind the Scotland Team at the Euros every step of the way, and also up at Murrayfield in February for the rugby internationals.
Being proudly made using premium, traditional Scottish ingredients we naturally feel a real affinity with all things Scottish, all things sport and all things fun – not to mention all things tasty! As such the brand is going from strength to strength, along with the sales.
What’s more, we have big plans to be at the much anticipated Dunhill Links in September – so keep an eye out for us there where we’ll be running a fantastic Instagram competition to win one of Druids Golf’s brilliant Ambassador Packs.
We can’t wait to get out and meet more of our BRAW tribe next time we’re out at the golf!
