AB Mauri have a global presence with manufacturing sites across 5 continents, and the acquisition of Fleming Howden by AB Mauri in June 2019 opened the door to a world of bakery technology unrivalled in the industry.

The UK & Ireland hub for Bakery Development is the AB Mauri Centre of Excellence (ACE) in Corby, Northamptonshire. Here a team of over 30 technologists work solely on the advancement of bakery technology. They combine the latest in emulsifier, enzyme and ingredient technologies into conditioners, concentrates and mixes that bakeries of all sizes can use.

AB Mauri are specialists in both bread and cake and are an integral part of the success of many household names within the bakery industry. They create partnerships with their customers to bring new products and technologies to the consumer and the ever-changing marketplace.

At Fleming Howden we have a pipeline of new products that are available to our customers which feature the technology developed through AB Mauri. Whether it’s breads with health benefits, rolls that keep soft and moist throughout their shelf life, or cakes that keep as fresh as the day that they were made for weeks on end, we have it covered.

The future for Fleming Howden is exciting. We are building on a core range of bakery mixes which we manufacture ourselves in Edinburgh by adapting and modernising in a way which we think will please our customers – and ultimately delight the consumer.
